The hub was designed to be easy to install. All that is needed is a drill with a 1/4" hex driver. Checkout our installation video or ask your local electrician about installation.

No, WaveLink does not require WIFI to function. The hub has built in cellular capabilities to stay connected to your WaveLink app.

Will the WaveLink hub work on any dock?
Yes, WaveLink works on floating, fixed, plastic, metal, wooden, any dock with power and water will work just fine.

Yes, the hub will need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. In the case of a power outage, the hub will switch to its onboard backup battery and notify you of an outage.

GFCI by itself is not enough. While GFCI protects a single outlet, it does not protect against other electrical sources such as boats, power providers, neighboring docks, or the very cable powering the GFCI outlet.
